Motherhood Mini Sessions on Film

Motherhood sessions are near to my heart. Since giving birth to my daughter, I’ve felt so connected to all women whether they have children or not. I once read that when women give birth to their babies they also give birth to themselves. I’ve found this phrase to be so true for my own experience in becoming a mother. This idea and concept of “giving birth to one’s self” whether someone has children or not is a theme I’d like to explore more of with my photo work.

My hope for motherhood sessions is that I can celebrate you in whatever season of life you’re in while keeping things laid back. I’d love to be photographing mothers of all ages and mothers who have chosen not to or couldn’t have children. I believe there is mother energy inside all of us. :)

I offer motherhood mini sessions all year long. There is no limit to dates I offer them. We shoot on a roll or two of black and white 35mm film. I love coming up with a location that captures your vibe or we can always shoot in my backyard studio in Tucson together if you want a simple white backdrop for your photos.
